About Camel Live

Camel Live is a football livescore site built around one idea: the score should be the first thing you see, and it should load before you lose patience.

What Camel Live covers

Every page is built from live football data: matches in play, kick-off times for upcoming games, final results, league tables, match events, lineups, statistics and head-to-head records. Coverage spans the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1, European competitions such as the Champions League, the Saudi Pro League, and domestic leagues and cups across Africa, Asia and the Americas. Where the data comes from

Match data is supplied by a third-party football data provider and reaches the site through our own caching layer. Nothing on Camel Live is invented: if a statistic, lineup or event is not published by the data feed, the page says so rather than filling the gap with a guess.

Because the data passes through a feed, scores can lag a live broadcast by a short period, and occasionally a provider corrects a result after the fact. Treat Camel Live as a fast reference, not an official record.

How often scores update

In-play pages such as live football scores refresh roughly every 20 to 45 seconds while matches are running. Fixture lists, results and standings are cached for longer, because they change far less often. Caching is what keeps pages quick on a phone connection.

How the site is built

Pages are rendered on the server and shipped as mostly static HTML, with only a small amount of JavaScript for live refreshing and followed teams. All football data requests happen on the server, never in your browser.

Following your teams

You can follow clubs from any team page. Followed teams are stored in your own browser only, never in an account and never sent to us. Clearing your browser data clears them.
