This policy explains what Camel Live does and does not collect. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

No accounts, no sign-up

Camel Live has no user accounts. You do not create a profile, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail to use the site.

Followed teams stay in your browser

When you follow a club, the club name, its crest URL and its page address are saved in your browser’s local storage. That data never leaves your device: it is not sent to our servers, not shared with anyone, and not readable by us. Clearing your browser data removes it. Using the site in a private window, or with site data blocked, simply means followed teams are not remembered.

Server logs

Like any website, Camel Live is served by a hosting provider that keeps short-lived technical logs. These typically record the requested page, a timestamp, the response status, the browser user-agent and an IP address. They exist to keep the service running and to investigate faults and abuse. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.

Cookies

The public pages of Camel Live do not set advertising or analytics cookies. A single cookie is used on the private administration area to keep an editor signed in; it is not set for ordinary visitors and carries no personal information.

Football data and images

Match data is supplied by a third-party football data provider. Those requests are made by our servers, not by your browser, so your device is not exposed to the data provider when you read a page. Club crests and competition logos are images hosted by the data provider’s media service and are loaded directly by your browser, which means that service receives your IP address and user-agent as part of a normal image request.

Links to other sites

Articles may link to other websites. Once you follow such a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies; we have no control over it.

Children

Camel Live is a general-audience sports information site. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Because we do not hold personal data tied to you, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request. You can clear followed teams at any time by clearing site data in your browser. If you believe we hold information about you, write to us via the contact page and we will look into it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be summarised here rather than quietly edited in.
